Similar theme but not law: you have licenced Professional Engineers that has a similar protected category of specialists that requires an intense certification program and they must sign off on anything involving official engineering calculations. I worked for a structural engineer that expressly only wanted his calculations to be used and only partnered with an old P.E. to get his drawings stamped. They are not reviewed. Just stamped. Similar to what Devin says here: THESE NEED TO BE CHECKED. They are responsible for anything listed. When my boss tried to hire another PE to stamp things, he got mad that they actually were checking the math.
This was a construction company. Building houses.
