AI is the largest productivity multiplier in human history; potentially exceeding the Industrial Revolution and the entire debate is being conducted as though the question of who captures that productivity is already settled. It isn't settled. It's just not on the agenda.
Labour value that previously distributed wealth through wages evaporates upward into ownership. That's not a prediction. That's already happening. A Global Guaranteed Income conversation would require admitting:
"The productivity gains from AI are large enough to eliminate scarcity for the species — and we are choosing not to do that." That sentence cannot be spoken in that room.
