i can assure you: the difference in quality between AI writing and good human writing is staggering, it's not even funny! we're getting way better at differentiating AI from human text, because AI text has much more noticeable patterns. especially in longer works, AI will reuse phrases to a criminal degree, and often times the things it comes up with a very poorly thought out. you can use AI for quick rough drafts or to get you through a writer's block, or to brainstorm some ideas, see where it leads you ... but that's a totally fine use. Dont let AI discourage you, it's no less dangerous than 500000 random people writing and self-publishing books with zero experience. AI is not going to replace your creativity, and it's not going to replace your skill as an author. it takes MUCH MORE to write a book than finding the right words. infact, writing beautiful sentences is rather far down the list of priorities ;)
