I don’t think the problem is stealing the style (since a style is not copyrighted). The problem is that their art is being used to train AI without consent or compensation. There are other problems to it. Like how it uses real people’s pictures and can incorporate their likeness to make AI images. Which has lead to some messed up stuff, like famous YouTubers being deep faked into porn. It’s messed up. I’m sure AI can be used ethically one day. But we just have to wait and sit tight and see how old and new regulations apply.
Also the golden ratio is not a style. It’s a principle of art. It’s also not unique to art. It’s found in nature. I’m sure you can’t claim a principle of nature is a style my friend. 😉
