You'd basically have to be stupid/blindly biased to not understand the difference by reading your explanation
AI would never be even slightly as "good" as it is nowadays if it wasn't for all the very human art and even real photos that were fed into it without any permission whatsoever from the people that made it/took it. I'm baffled by how many people think that copyright is magically not a thing when things are posted online by the way...but of course, they're not of the same mind the moment someone else steals from them.
