Before anyone asks i work with physical media (polymer clay and such). digital art and painting/sketches are something I'm just starting as a hobby. I don't use AI in my art process I am just asking a question because it is a thought I always have when AI comes to that as a tool used to enhance not do the job for you it doesn't seem problematic (not focusing on the environmental ramifications) but as a replacement for work AI is sinister. Especially because of the fact that most, if not all new digital artists have to extensively show their work at all times to not have someone accuse them of using AI which then feeds future AI of their broken down techniques.
