@TheRealMisterMeisterTake a look on my original comment again. I’m not discussing AGi nor was the discussion they were having about AGI yet. I agree with your assessment of AGI, however ‘they’ seem to be a long way from true AGI. The disruptive power of AI’s modern incarnation is job loss, and devaluation of many human cognitive skills. Additionally concentrating the power that those skills in sociopathic machines under the control of sociopathic individuals and corporations is more frightening and a more eminent threat.
