@AlisSpark How many frames could an AI draw to fill in an anime before it no longer becomes art, then? Any? Literally even one frame?
This is what we mean when we love the idea of putting artists out of work. We don't NEED 80 artists slaving away filling in 30,000 frames for a show. AI means you can draw 500 frames and the machine fills in the gaps. You're playing up the 'beauty and artistry' of anime, but you're also ignoring how outrageously cheap and lazy it also frequently is. For every single 'key frame' of Goku's emotional depiction there's a frame where they just copy-pasted filler trash to take up time. What beautiful expression of the human soul was reflected there besides 'we're lazy and want to get this done'?
AI means you no longer would need to do that. Instead of repeating the same four frames 1200 times showing Goku powering up, every frame could be unique and it could be done in twenty minutes.
