I think the point has both always and never been about the time it takes to make this art
Because sure, it took this shmuck not even a minute to type in the prompt for the AI, and it can take months or years for natural animation to come together, however you can’t apply that to AI.
A human can spend a few hours to make a decent animation, but they can spend even more time improving that animation into something AMAZING.
AI doesn’t do that. What you get with AI is that. AI can’t revise a project, it can’t fix its mistakes. You type a prompt in, and 6 seconds later you get the final project. However that’s IT. That is the END project. If you want to change or improve it or extend it then you need a HUMAN to edit it and clean it up.
