Also its science fiction, an algorithm can go wild, what really would be an ai would be selfawareness that isnt programmed to look like it, like the parrot pretty near any ther is based on.
Which doesnt change bots no matter what sophisticated are literally trained and taught to lie, and grift, without any actual ethics. And yes its not real but even as possibility ther eshould be ethic guidelines mandatary in the tinyest case that its not people like altman like imprinting that weird but not actually aware bots.
Like its taught to ebe literally a conman. by conmen.
Its not even that irt couldnt work but it couldnt be the grift it is now, because its essentially programmed and run on the priorities of an at minimum amoral conman.
