This comment picks up on something I also intrinsically feel is being systematically ignored. Every AI is learning from its user and writes answers it thinks the User basically wants to hear. When I started using GPT5, my ability to spot the bullshit went up very quickly. The illusion cracked. It has no fucking idea what its doing. It's just trying to optimize for your preferences and prompts, and if you give it sophisticated enough prompts, it spits out clear idiocy. I think we're looking at a chameleon, not a doomsday. The doomsday will come from those who are basically looking for it.
