@makstracy It's all subjective by the end of the day. Sure, a child's drawing can have value to those who deem it valuable. But I would easily argue that I've seen art, especially modern ones, that I find to be total garbage compared to some of the stuff I've seen AI produce lately. One man's trash is another man's treasure.
Furthermore, most people won’t notice the subtle nuances that someone with a keen eye will. For many, art is simply art. I recall a debate that lasted for years about whether concept art for entertainment qualifies as real art. Ultimately, it comes down to each individual’s perspective on what holds true meaning for them.
It’s only a matter of time before AI becomes sentient and surpasses humans in all areas and abilities. And in some ways, I do see some of the benefits of that. However, we will have to wait and see what unfolds in the next 5 to 10 years, as it is still too early to determine the outcomes.
