This entire arguement is fundamnetally built on the same logic as a racist arguement. Its discrediting the effort and work that went into something because its from a different type of person. AI art is the collective effort of thousands of computer scientists and mathematicians. With a decade plus long history to be able to even get to the point of creating a bad picture. Claiming the meaning, effort and story behind art is what gives it value. Is the very reason AI art HAS any value. Its a technical marvel and an example of the absolute skill and dedication of humanity. Its just a bunch of math nerds instead of a bunch of art nerds. To discredit one group for the same reason you credit another. Is the same logic as racism, or xenophobia. AI art has plenty of problems, and most of them legal issues. That NEED to be solved before it should be accepted broadly. BUT This argument IS fucking bullshit and ENTIRELY from a place of ignorance.
