I think that CEO's will get onto another level of wealth. I'm talking hundreds of billions if not trillions. They will buy politicians and lobby to get preferential taxation. They won't want all the AI benefits to be eroded by taxation for UBI. They will buy global politics. This will allow them to relocate if they want because AI will allow them to be more flexible. Small countries or existing wealthy countries will become tax havens. Even if they allow themselves to be taxed they will buy politicians and make them say that UBI is a bad idea and should be a minimal amount like unemployment benefits because they want people to not get lazy and have a sense of self respect and anything else is 'unamerican'. People will retrade but might not see the same level of income as before.
