@itsloach Again - turning to opt-in model will throw ai back a hundred or thousand years. There just won't be enough content to train AI on. He said himself - there are billions of images in datasets. How long will it take for artists to willfully donate a billion of images? Who says that website won't be flooded with bad images, that will offset the process even further?
Progression and automation aren't burdened by laws of ethics. Stagnation leads to death and if we, as humanity, want to survive - we should be focused on surpassing the great filter and making self-sustainable colonies outside of our solar system. Not cry about AI taking our job as entertainers.
