For code development it absolutely won't be. Legitmate AI models are getting insanely competent at coding, especially mindless "code monkey" type coding. It's one of the places where generative AI holds the most legitimate business promise and has already replaced an UNGODLY amount of lower level software dev jobs. That's why this scam was so successful, it was couched in a nugget of fact.
