Well, right now it's possible to hack your car. This have happened due to noone tought it was possible.
With AI and all the automatition on cars I would say that security will be taken more seriously.
Also, the less malfunctions there is means that the system it's less used and tested. For example Windows (yes, you have updates every week due to the amount of users who test and attack it), and that isn't bad.
