Great post. Whenever we invent something, it’s always because we have a goal, like the phone to communicate, the light bulb to see in the dark, the pencil to write etc. Like you said, this isn’t being invented with doctors to fix cancer.
AI is being made by the likes of the govt with Palantir to use on weapon systems, companies for advertising, China for tracking people with face recognition. It’s a big mess and is changing our lives for the worst
