@magentapotatoes7891 I get that this is a touchy subject, so I appreciate the civility in your comment. Regarding what I said. Not really sure if it counts for anything, but I did not pay anything for the IA generated image itself. It was all using the free version of chatgpt. Again, I'm not trying to be antagonistic or anything here. Just wanted to clarify that I did not give money to chatgpt instead of an artist. As for commissions, I'd love to. Maybe I will at some point. But writing is no more than a hobby I do after my day to day job. At the beginning, I didn't even care if people actually read it (Which they do, thankfully. Can't deny that it brightens my day when I read a positive comment on a new chapter). Maybe that's why I struggle a little when it comes to the intensity of the opinions regarding this topic. However, actually spending money on something I merely do for fun feels, I don't know, I wouldn't call it "wrong", but almost as if I was taking it too seriously. At the moment, asking the chatbot to create some generic cover felt like a no brainer. The alternative was to just write the title in ms paint with some fancy font, and attempting it myself. Which was just laughable. Again, paying someone didn't even cross my mind. Maybe I just haven't put that much time into this topic and I should ponder on it a little longer. Whatever the case, I honestly hope you find success in your artistic endeavors.
