@HeadsFullOfEyeballs I think that's just a limitation of the English language. It's pretty generally understood that creating AI art is pretty separate from actually drawing or painting anything, it's just that we don't have useful words to describe that distinction, and so people sometimes say "I created these images, what do you think?" when showing off their art.
It's not that they're necessarily claiming total artistic credit in the same way as an artist, they're just articulating that *they* were the person who generated them.
Then of course when artists see them saying this, they think they *are* claiming credit, and get mad, and create videos like this one. It's just miscommunication and not having words specific enough to describe the difference. No malice on either part
