That was what religion did, then we decided science was a better option.
Today, science is proving the health benefits of religious and spiritual practice but we still have no compass.
Congregations have been replaced with social media posts and reddit comment threads. Sadly we're at the point where a great catastrophe will be the only thing that will truly change the way we live as a whole. N we're not short on potential options, but we're careening towards the worst ones.
