non-artists overestimate how much artists influence each other to a ridiculous extent.
If you talk to Ai-Art defenders you might think, that all we do is copy each other. But in Art school you are told to draw from life, to look at the real world. We were encouraged to start with a realistic style and develop something unique from that. Not to copy another artist.
