@Cqat1 image generation AI isn't really limited to the "prompt to image" though, it's just the most popular concept because it's easy to sell (and sadly, a lot of AI startups are just money grabs, created to quickly profit on hype and stolen art, and disappear into thin air).
Eventually there would be proper AI tools for artists - for example tools for transferring cloth texture between animation frames, light and shadow computing, repetitive patterns generation (for background objects like walls, fences). Basically things that (at least in some styles) don't take much skill or creativity, but consume tons of time. But for this to happen, we need at least some ethically sourced AI models on the market, and of course, a company that at least have some understanding of what art actually is
