@johnisntmyrealname2143 "we are all 'artists' insofar that we want to make art that makes money" and "Everyone is an artist because they want to make money" implies almost the same thing.
I agree with Paul in that art is pointless (or not "art" or however you look at it) without a soul, but I think art created purely for money is also soulless.
Boiling art down to "just products" versus the "creative process" is I think where the divide between traditional artists and "AI artists" or whoever else occurs. When you ignore the humanity implicit in the act of creation, you don't see any difference between art created by an artist and something generated by an industry or a robot.
