Yeah, that sums it up.
Of course, it's important to mention that handmade art is typically going to have more passion poured into it, just because the learning hurdle bottlenecks anyone without a desire to do it. Surface level AI stuff is so easy it's basically a toy unless someone genuinely likes it enough to do something interesting with it.
