@anishpunnen3643unfortunately as many AI experts have alluded to, the problem is China. They don’t care what this does to people as long as it has the chance to put them ahead of the USA. So if we stop developing AI, it will just let them get ahead and we can’t have that either.
I honestly think the only way forward is to perfect AI and try to embrace its ability to push humankind forward by leaps and bounds. Perhaps AI will aid in opening up new frontiers like undersea and space, places we have yet to explore. This will create new jobs and new purpose.
Or maybe AI will simply make current jobs more efficient. I might be jumping ahead in the timeline.
In any case, I think people born in the future will have to live up to a much higher standard. Knowing one skill or trade to get through life isn’t going to be enough anymore. Question is, will human intelligence be able to keep up with the increased demand on personal capability. That Neuralink stuff may seem far fetched or undesirable but it may become mandatory in order to fully utilize AI or just to keep up with the amount of knowledge that will be required of each individual.
