The first logs show he told chatgpt about two majors deaths in his life, and asked if it was normal to feel numb. That's what this started as. And chatgpt kept answering and volunteering horrible advice time after time, day after day, and months later even explicitly telling him that he shouldn't even try to tell his mother he'd attempted several times, because she'd never understand.
