It is possible if we focus on AI rather than automation. With the help of good AI, doctors, scientists, and Engineers will have easier jobs which means more people will be able to do them and their pay will decrease proportionately to the supply of high-skilled labor in the market. You may have people less willing to do the job if it pays less but you'll have more people able to do the job if it's easier.
