Ahhh, the boury-your-head-in-the-sand approach to science. Worked so well in the past. lol
I don't agree with autonomous weapons AI though and I don't think Hawking's wrong on this one, but he says the same thing about other types of AI too. I have a lot of respect for the man, but when it comes to AI development I prefer to trust the people developing it, who say the exact opposite.
