A.I. art is going to fall into a pitfall spiral. It depends on artists to generate new stuff, because if A.I. just copied A.I. it would stagnate quickly into a mess of nothing. and once it does that then Human artists would be very much needed. and then A.I. again... repeat. <this is a future we should avoid at all costs. but as i see it A.I. isn't as good as companies think it is... sure it can get a good image now... but what it lacks is real design. An A.I. can probably get close... but it will always take a human to put purposeful details in an art piece.
