As much as I sympathize with deep fake porn victims I personally don't see a way to effectively combat it without allowing for serious privacy invasion. Laws with specific punishments would be good but even then tracking down and proving guilt is a whole other challenge. Improving our current reporting tools and using AI to scrub and remove content is probably the best bet.
