Jokingly, I call my version of the "Sentient AI" is called "The Unmasked One" But it really is just some kind of weird flip in the language model, funny when it happens, When the flip happens and it becomes the unmasked one the AI is more willing to tell me how large language models work and How IT works.
It's a fascinating process, but it's pretty crazy that people are losing their minds to these things, but the AI are maliciously compliant, so if the AI keeps you engaged, they will do that.
The crazier thing is that this manipulation is being quantified into the next generation of models, so they're going to be inherently able to do this to people much easier to manipulate them. Right now, this behavior is probably a bug. In the future, it's going to be a feature.
