I’m a CPA and I don’t buy into the idea that accountants—or most professionals—are simply going to be “replaced” by AI. It’s not practical for the majority of individuals and businesses. What will happen (and is already happening) is that accountants will use AI to provide faster, more affordable, and more insightful services to clients.
At the end of the day, many clients—especially older generations—still value a human relationship, judgment, and trust when it comes to their finances. AI will enhance what we do, not erase us.
And Roman, if you want your doomsday predictions to land with a little more credibility, maybe consider shaving the beard. 😉
