Environmental concerns don't really make much sense anyway, if you compared the carbon footprint of AI generating an image vs human generating one, AI comes out orders exponentially better for the planet. The soul, the passion, the feeling of an art piece, sure, people can argue over that. But not far from now the quality and certainly not the carbon impact is going to be something to be fought over.
