I have a tendency to hang on and listen to these lengthy discussions, but I think this one has gone on too long (2:26:10) before Yudowsky has told us what aspects of AI make him think there is a chance it will kill us all. It would be better to have him state his thesis at the beginning even if that results in some repetition two hours into the discussion.
