There is only 1 bit of AI art i've ever enjoyed on a level deeper that looks funny. Firstly, it was 99% not AI generated, and secondly, they used AI specifically because it looked flawed and inhuman.
In Kung fu panda 4, the main villain is able to shape shift into other characters to use their kung fu powers and AI was used Simply because it would make things grotesque in a way that a human would not be as easily capable of. Something about the way it looks just feels wrong to our eyes. Yes, humans can replicate that, but I still feel that is the only situation i've heard where the use of a I was mostly justified.
