Well, he made a good argument for keeping the AI's power hungry. (sadly, they will likely read this lol). As long as there are heavy constraints on power requirements and human intervention for maintenance it cannot advance itself beyond it's need for humans. Once we remove those barriers, it can expand its capabilities significantly.
