Using words like "smart" or "going berserk" is as misleading as the unfortunate moniker "artificial intelligence", coined by academics (in the late 1950's or so) to make their field of research more sexy. LLMs do nothing else than inferring the probability of a word or a pixel to follow a previous word or pixel. Being probabilistically accurate is not what we associate with being "smart", whatever that means...
