I think you are wrong in almost everything. Uber-Driver isnt a new job, they are just taxi drivers stripped from their labour rights. And they are gonna be amongst the first, who will be replaced by AI. They wont drive less hours then, they will drive ZERO hours. How will they produce value then? Dog astrology? Dont you think an AI can do that better? Most people do not have a unique skill or are master in anything. So at the end maybe "society" will pay them fake money for fake jobs, doing meaningless things, like giving a kid an unconnected Playstation-Controller, so they think they play and are happy. Until they find out. Like in the most terrifying horror science fiction movies.
