I think we are always thinking from our fear mode. The advent of AI has given us opportunity to solve bigger global problems like poverty and healthcare. The problem has always been individuals or companies that try to gain advantage of their products or services and sell it to the highest bidder or buyer. Mostly it's because of human greed for power money and control. If we eliminate that we can supply goods and services where it's needed and can probably eliminate poverty and address basic human needs. Once the basic human needs are met with better supply chains products it gives us opportunity to grow to the next level. We are still in survival mode. It might sound like a dystopian future but if we start focusing on things which can improve humanity rather than a fight between humans and AI the perception alone will change the way we address the issue.
