It’s all because money is involved on so many levels. Something so powerful, useful, cryptic, accessible, tempting… think about how greed spoils every echelon of society.
The news today talked about how the board of directors for chatgpt ousted him. Microsoft (their biggest investor) was making moves to acquire him shortly after. The funny thing is, he appeared to have been loved by his board of directors and had moral intentions—but yet eliminated by the company?? And a behemoth like Microsoft is ready to embrace him? Sounds super fishy and like how mark zuckerburg (the one portrayed in “the social network”) was portrayed as a benevolent idealist that just wanted to help people connect—fast forward to 2023. People hate on him so bad for being so evil. Money changes all of it.
