To get the closest possible thing to your vision or requirements from AI, it does have a level of skill and understanding of the components of what you are using AI to do, as well as persistence and ability to refine and adapt. You have to give AI every little bit of information possible while also not overcomplicating the prompt so that it hallucinates shit.
For example, I use it help write code. If I knew nothing about the fundamentals and components of coding as well as the syntax of the language, I would never get it to do what I want it to.
Do I call myself a programmer? Nah. I know enough to get AI to do it right, and I know how to manipulate the AI in the right direction, but I am not a programmer.
