From AI (I’m going to stop watching the news) :
1. Is a Computer Science Degree Still Worth It?
Yes. Here’s why:
• CS is the most flexible tech degree: it covers programming, data structures, algorithms, networks, operating systems, and theory. Those fundamentals don’t become obsolete when tools (like AI) change.
• Employers still value the credential: many security, software, and even AI roles explicitly ask for “Computer Science or related field.”
• Fallback advantage: if one path (e.g., software development) gets saturated, CS grads can pivot into cybersecurity, data science, machine learning, IT architecture, etc. That’s not true for narrower degrees.
