And all this for what? AI is so so unnecessary. We got to the technological point where we needed to evolve. Beyond our lizard brain. But most people didn't. And so we built AI - the next shiny toy. And unless we all realise and turn it off, it's going to get very interesting soon. Your speaker has a very nihilistic view of consciousness. I personally disagree. Frustrating you both seem to think it's a done deal. Btw,,, what makes you think AI will even stay on Earth? Also, how is it going to get all the raw materials to run all the power plants for all the data centres. AI has limitations too.
