Perhaps we will not be fighting with each other in the future but humanity will be united against AI. As far as economics goes, it's beyond me to understand how capitalism keeps going if AI does all the jobs unless money only trades hands between those who control AI "workers." That leaves most of humanity doing only jobs that AI cannot do, and imagining those could be an important thing to do right now for young people.
