I'd say Selfdriving is also just far from ready, I have driven brandnew BMWs, Audis and Mercedes and none of those cars are safe on self driving, the amount of times I would have crashed if i didn't have my hands on the wheel isn't even funny. And when you get on construction sites you'd be better off driving by hearing.
Now I can only judge that for those 3 Brands, as those are the only ones I have driven no clue how a tesla would do for example. But I definitely wouldn't trust that.
But then also the fatalities here in Germany where about 2500 in 21 and 2750 in 22, so i dont think those numbers would dramatically change as they are already quite low.
The Cars where: 520d Touring from 21, then but just for a weekend a M4 from 22, an E450 Allterain from 22, a GLE400d from 22 and now and currently a A7 45tdi Quattro (Also a 22 model). All cars except the M4 i have driven mire then a month so i can judge how they did, but also my selfdriving expertise is narrowed to those few.
