I can't draw. It's one of the biggest frustrations in my life. I can act, I can write, but lacking that skill it's still a pain for me. Now I realized that I can't draw because I never learned. When I was a child my drawings were bad, so I was frustrated and I didn't spend more time doing it. A month ago I bought some watercolors, and I saw that with more patience, I can make some art that's acceptable for me, knowing my limits. What I wonder is: were other people always this frustrated? I never heard of such "tyranny" of artists before generative AI came around, but now I often see these complaints about the villanous artists. "Finally! Thanks to AI, we brought those oligarchs down to the ground with us! We are all on the same level now!" Were these people always so bitter inside and can finally let it out?
