If I told an AI why did the chicken cross the road and trained him to say to get to the other side he wouldn’t have enough info to *know* what a chicken is and if I fed him info he would just not know the words and since info is constantly being made and information doesn’t = intelligence then no, a computer cannot be conscious and plus we cannot simulate conscious, only the brain.
