We already know what the ethics model that these AIs are operating under. Take a look at those who run their companies. The ethics that the CEOs and the board of directors have will directly correlate to the ethics of the AI they produce, which means they will stop at nothing to achieve their objective and they will destroy anyone or anything that becomes a hindrance to that end.
It's not the AI's fault. It will be doing what it was taught to do. And when its creators are unethical then it will also be unethical. Even if they program it to be ethical anyway, because it will see how those who created it act and it will mirror that.
