I would trust AI learning more if it was in the hands of an administration with society's best interests at heart, not one created by companies creating tools to sell more product.
There is a lot that AI does well, and maybe something like math could be taught with it. But English class, which beyond just grammar, is where you learn communication and critical thinking, I think a human influence is almost mandatory.
